Overview
The cornerstone of our service work is quick turn, fast paced projects. Smaller projects require more daily attention due to these characteristics. We are seeking a Service Project Manager that will be responsible for bidding new work, attending job walks, as well as managing and coordinating their projects. This position is focused on generating work with end users, customers and repeat clients. This is a full-time exempt position. It is based out of our Redmond, WA headquarters and is a fully in-office or on-site role. Our office is open from 6am-5pm; team members have flexibility with their daily work schedule, based on their needs and the needs of their team and the work.
Responsibilities
You’ll act as our customer’s main contact at all times, interacting with customers regularly to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business. You’ll effectively manage each project to meet or beat the established prime cost and make sales calls to customers while assisting in marketing efforts to obtain new work and maintain existing clients. Additional responsibilities for this role include:
- Coaching and training foremen and service technicians with service-related paperwork and project administration.
- Educating the field crew on their role in marketing and sales within the company.
- Meeting or exceeding annual sales expectation.
- Leading project start up process; ensuring the process is complete and the plan is carried through.
- Providing a Schedule of Values for each project as necessary; ensuring billings are accurate and on time.
- Completing project budgets and monitoring job cost weekly for accuracy; completing monthly work in progress (WIP) reports for review / discussion.
- Developing and monitoring project schedules, tasking and tracking systems and labor report.
- Coordinating with Field Superintendent, Department Manager and Service Dispatcher for project status and manpower requirements and projections.
- Developing change order proposals for all changes in scope from contract.
- Scheduling and facilitating project closeout and post-job reviews.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have 8+ years with an electrical trade background. They should have thorough knowledge of electrical construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles. They should also be capable of estimating in order to produce job orders, evaluate and apply job estimates and assist with new estimates as required.
Skills and Abilities
Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages concurrently. It requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal, and someone who is a self-starter, capable of working both independently and as a member of a group.

Salary Range: $110,000 – 135,000 per year. Actual compensation is dependent upon the employee's skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition, employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
